Evaluation and treatment of one focused skin concern. Appropriate for new or returning patients with a single concern, such as a changing mole, wart, acne cyst, localized rash, skin growth, or other straightforward skin concern.

Full Skin Cancer Screening - $275
A comprehensive head-to-toe skin examination to screen for skin cancer and identify concerning or changing lesions. Ideal for annual skin checks or patients at increased risk for skin cancer. This visit is intended for screening and does not include evaluation of additional medical concerns.

Dermatology Consultation - $300
A thorough evaluation and personalized treatment plan for one primary dermatologic concern requiring a more comprehensive assessment, such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, hair or nail disorders, or other ongoing or complex skin conditions.

Dermatology Consultation + Skin Cancer Screening - $425
Includes a comprehensive full-body skin cancer screening plus evaluation and treatment of one primary dermatologic concern. Ideal for patients who would like to address a skin condition while also completing their annual skin examination.

This visit also includes a comprehensive full-body skin cancer screening. Ideal for patients seeking an in-depth, personalized visit while also completing their annual skin examination.

A convenient virtual follow-up for straightforward concerns, medication management, review of treatment progress, laboratory results, or other focused issues that do not require an in-person examination. Patients MUST be physically located in the state of NC during visit.

Virtual Dermatology Consultation - $300
A comprehensive virtual consultation for selected dermatologic concerns. Ideal for acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, medication management, treatment planning, and other conditions that do not require an in-person examination. Patients MUST be physically located in the state of NC during visit.

Wrinkle Relaxer Treatment (Botox, Dysport, etc.) - $350 Minimum
Personalized treatment with Botox, Dysport, or similar neuromodulators to soften expression lines while preserving natural movement. Final pricing depends on the areas treated and the amount of product needed.
Cosmetic "Clean Up" (Skin Tag / Benign Spot) - $375+
A focused cosmetic visit for treatment of benign-appearing skin tags, seborrheic keratoses (“wisdom spots”), and similar harmless skin growths that patients would like removed for cosmetic reasons.
Depending on the lesion type, treatment may include scissor removal, shave/scissor snip technique, or cryotherapy with liquid nitrogen. This visit is intended for lesions that are clinically benign and do not require medical evaluation for skin cancer. If any spot appears atypical, changing, symptomatic, or medically concerning, Dr. McLean may recommend biopsy or pathology evaluation instead of cosmetic removal. Additional fees may apply for biopsy, pathology, or medically indicated lesion removal.
Shave Biopsy / Removal - $100 First / $75 Additional
A small sample removed for diagnosis. Pathology is required and is billed separately.
Punch Biopsy - $200 First / $125 Additional
A small sample removed for diagnosis. Includes stitches and follow-up suture removal if needed. Pathology is required and is billed separately.
Intralesional Steroid Injection - $150
A targeted injection to calm acne cysts, keloids, patchy hair loss, or stubborn scars.
Intralesional Medication Injection (5-FU) - $300
A localized injection used to treat select skin conditions, including certain skin cancers when appropriate.
Electrodesiccation & Curettage, ED&C - $300
An in-office treatment for select superficial skin cancers.
Cryotherapy (Liquid Nitrogen) Treatment - $150 - $300+
Treatment with liquid nitrogen for appropriate lesions such as precancerous spots, warts, molluscum, or irritated benign growths. Price depends on the number and type of spots treated and how involved treatment is.
Abscess or Inflamed Cyst Treatment - $300
Treatment for a painful or inflamed bump, which may include incision & drainage (I&D) procedure when appropriate.
Cosmetic Mole or Growth Removal - $300+ First / $150 Additional
Smooth, scar-conscious removal of benign moles or growths for cosmetic reasons. Pathology is required and is billed separately.
Excision & Repair (<2cm) - $750
In-office surgical removal of a skin cancer, cyst, lipoma, mole, or other growth. Excision and repair are included, along with a wound check and suture removal appointment. Pathology is required and billed separately.
