The Eastover Clinic welcomes ALL patients including men, women, and children of all ages.
Dr. McLean sees patients for concerns including acne, rosacea, eczema, rashes, psoriasis, skin checks, changing spots, hair loss, warts, and other common dermatology needs.
She also has a special interest in caring for women through the skin and hair changes that can come with perimenopause, menopause, and midlife, but the practice is not limited to midlife women.

Our clinic specializes in a wide range of dermatological services, including medical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, aesthetic dermatology, and lifestyle dermatology. We also provide care for more complex conditions such as skin cancer screenings and dermatological surgery.
One particular service that is unique to our clinic is dermatological care for women navigating perimenopause and menopause. These conditions come with a broad spectrum of symptoms, including dry and sensitive skin, skin laxity and fragility, thinning hair or hair shedding, hormonal hair growth, increased redness, and more. We believe that skin health concerns can be linked to other aspects of your health (such as fluctuating hormones), and it’s important to see the whole-picture for a deeper, more personalized treatment plan rather than using surface-level solutions.
Please see our Services & Pricing Page for more information about our areas of care.

No. The Eastover Clinic is a cash-pay, out-of-network practice. We do not bill insurance directly. This allows us to offer transparent pricing and thoughtful, personalized care regardless of insurance status.
Payment is due at the time of service. We accept major credit cards and HSA/FSA cards.
As a courtesy, we can provide a detailed superbill for eligible medical visits upon request, which you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your individual plan.
When appropriate, laboratory testing and prescriptions may still be processed through your insurance. Some medications, compounded products, cosmetic services, and administrative services may not be covered.

Dr. McLean welcomes Medicare patients!
However, please note that Dr. McLean has opted out of Medicare, which means Medicare patients may be seen at The Eastover Clinic under a private-pay arrangement. Medicare cannot be billed, and claims may not be submitted to Medicare for reimbursement.
-
Yes!
Although The Eastover Clinic does not bill insurance for visits or procedures, your insurance, Medicaid, or Medicare may still be used separately for outside services such as laboratory testing, prescription medications, and pathology.
These services are billed by the outside lab, pharmacy, or pathology group, not by The Eastover Clinic. Coverage, copays, deductibles, and prior authorization requirements depend on your individual insurance plan.
Please note that prior authorizations for medications may involve an additional administrative fee.

Yes! Medical visits at The Eastover Clinic are personally evaluated and managed by Dr. Emily McLean, a board-certified dermatologist.
Our small clinical team assists with scheduling, records, prescriptions, and follow-up communication. Messages between visits may be reviewed first by a clinical team member and brought to Dr. McLean when physician input is needed. This allows us to remain accessible and responsive while protecting the focused care provided during appointments.
-
You can schedule online for your convenience.
You may also call or text (980) 785-4744 or email hello@theeastoverclinic.com.
Medical records may be faxed to (980) 998-7524.
Please note that some procedures and specialized visits require consultation, photo review, or medical record review before scheduling, including certain excisions and cosmetic procedures.
-
Not all services are available for online booking.
Some visits and procedures require consultation, record review, photos, or staff guidance before scheduling. This may include excisions, certain cosmetic procedures, more involved medical concerns, or visits that require extra planning.
For established patients, we may also offer shorter, more focused follow-up visits when appropriate. These visits may be more affordable than a full consultation, but they are not always available for online booking.
-
We offer cosmetic dermatology, but medical dermatology is the heart of the practice. Our cosmetic and procedural offerings are guided by dermatologic expertise, safety, and a thoughtful understanding of your skin health.
-
Yes, when medically appropriate.
Dr. McLean offers thoughtful evaluation and treatment for patients experiencing skin, hair, and health changes related to perimenopause, menopause, and midlife. This may include discussion of hormone therapy or GLP-1 medications after a careful review of symptoms, medical history, risks, benefits, and goals.
These conversations are best addressed during a TEC Signature Consultation, which allows time for a more comprehensive review of your concerns, medical history, overall health, and treatment options.
These treatments are not right for everyone and may require labs, ongoing follow-up, and collaboration with your primary care physician, OB/GYN, endocrinologist, or other members of your care team. Dr. McLean values collaborative care and is happy to coordinate with your other physicians when helpful.
Our approach prioritizes FDA-approved options, with a focus on safety, effectiveness, and evidence-based care.
